Sancho has been Dortmund's star player this season, scoring 14 goals and registering 16 assists in just 21 Bundesliga starts, but was benched against Schalke, Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich.
The winger is believed to be carrying a hamstring problem although he was introduced at half-time against the reigning champions during the 1-0 home defeat on Tuesday.
United fans are sceptical and believe Dortmund may be unwilling to risk losing Sancho to injury with various clubs interested in a big-money move for the 20-year-old.
