Many Manchester United supporters have been taking to social media to call for the club to either sell David de Gea or demote him next season.
The Spaniard fumbled a routine save for the only goal of the game as West Ham beat United 1-0 on Sunday. The goalkeeper let in a similar flap-handed goal in August’s 4-0 loss to Brentford before being at fault for two goals in the Europa League quarter-final loss to Sevilla.
De Gea sees his contract expire next month but the shot-stopper is set to soon be handed a new deal with reduced terms.
