Frustration bubbled for Manchester United in their 2-0 win against Bristol City at Ashton Gate. The visitors failed to get out of second gear and create threatening chances, in what was a more disjointed performance than ever.
Hinaya Miyawzawa put United ahead in the 50th minute, her first-time strike from outside the box took a huge deflection from Chloe Mustaki and the ball bobbled into the back of the net.
Nikita Parris then doubled the lead minutes later with a free header. Ella Toone provided both assists having supplied the majority of United’s energy.
The forward grew increasingly frustrated with her uncharacteristically static teammates who deflated any chance of an attack on goal within seconds of hitting the final third.
