The right-back was exchanging a simple pass with Donny van de Beek and the return ball was easy for him to collect, but Wan-Bissaka took a clumsy touch and lost control of the ball.
In an attempt to make amends he stretched to recover and only proceeded to send his studs straight into Christopher Martins' ankle.
Wan-Bissaka's first touch has been an accident waiting to happen for a while. For a player signed for £45million two years ago, he's quickly become the weak link in the United defence.
