Iraq-born Usaid Alani, 20, lived in the UK briefly with his family at eight years old, but returned in 2019 after living in Iraq, Italy and Jordan.
Now based in Northenden, Usaid completed A Levels at Minhaj College Manchester, where he was accepted onto the college’s one-year A Level programme.
