People can now set foot in one of Manchester’s most unique attractions for free - and visit the spot where celebrities like Tilda Swinton, Hugh Grant and Alex Chung danced the night away at the Chanel afterparty last December.

Manchester’s Victoria Baths has announced the return of Welcome Wednesdays, which sees the venue open its doors to the public every Wednesday, from now until September.

It’s a chance to experience the historic Grade II*-listed building up close. Visitors are free to explore the venue at their own leisure or can join a guided tour to discover more about the baths’ history.

The baths will be open from 11am to 3pm every Wednesday until September 25. Entry is free although it’s £9 for the guided tour, which takes place at 1pm (tours are free for friends of Victoria Baths and under 18s).
