A new ‘hobby house’ has opened in Manchester city centre — and will be a place for people to explore their passions completely free of charge.
Altogether Otherwise, as it’s called, will open inside a disused printing house on Hanover Street, in the NOMA area of town.
The 6,500 sq ft space is open daily to the public, and contains a shop, workshop area, and a larger ‘village hall’-style space, where free-to-attend events will be held.
Bosses at NOMA, the 20-acre neighbourhood surrounding Victoria Station, say it is ‘a place to pursue creativity and explore new activities’ with like-minded people.
