A Manchester restaurant loved by celebrities has revealed the huge amount of money it has raised for children's charities - after pledging to donate £1 from every table's bill since the summer.
The Dubai-inspired restaurant and shisha terrace HABBIBI has been spreading some festive cheer this Christmas with its charity donation providing Christmas presents to thousands of children living in poverty across Greater Manchester and Leeds.
The Spinningfields eatery has become a hot spot frequented by many famous faces including the likes of Love Island winner Ekin-Su, boxing champ Amir Khan, team GB Olympic gold medallist Keely Hodgkinson, as well as an array of premier league footballers, soap actors and reality TV stars.
Since opening their doors in Manchester in June this year, the restaurant along with its sister site located in the Victoria Leeds shopping centre, decided to collect £1 from every customer’s bill and keep it aside to support charitable causes.
