A Manchester venue has just been named one of the best vegan restaurants in the world for 2023. The Allotment Vegan Eatery overlooking Manchester Cathedral landed in 28th position as part of an annual list revealing the best plant-based eateries.
The 50 Best Vegan Restaurants in the World is compiled by global travel site, Big 7 Travel, and features restaurants on nearly every continent - from Mexico City's vegan foodie paradise to the plant-based haven of Berlin.
The Allotment has been winning rave reviews and a number of admirers since first opening on Lloyd Street five years ago, and last year it was named Best Vegetarian Restaurant in the North at a national awards ceremony.
At the time, owner Anthony Sheridan spoke of how proud he was of the whole team for winning the Food Award title for a second year running.
