A man who recently scooped a massive £1 million win on the National Lottery after buying a ticket at his local Asda store says he owes his success to his late mum’s advice.
Robert Cameron, 53, initially bought a ticket on Friday, July 29, at his local Asda store in Maryhill, Glasgow. After checking, he realised he had won £3.70 and decided to follow his late mum's advice by reinvesting in his winnings.
Robert said he almost forgot to go and buy a second ticket, before returning to the shop after his son called asking for a lift.
His extra ticket proved to be even luckier than the first.
