iOS - Android He admitted unlawful possession of a lockback knife last November.Mairi-Clare McMillan, prosecuting, said it was discovered during a routine search as Deakin entered the building around 10am.He was asked to empty his pockets and a guard saw the knife among a bunch of keys.Asked if he had a good reason for having it, he stated he'd been carrying it for a while.Deakin's lawyer pointed out that he'd "freely handed over" the bunch of keys.He added: "It's no excuse, but he didn't think he was doing anything wrong."His record does him no favours and he is under the supervision of addiction services."Sheriff Thomas Millar said he was considering a jail sentence, but continued the case until next month for a criminal justice social.
