An inquest has opened into the death of a man who was killed in a hit-and-run after suffering from a medical episode. Nathan Louis James Hayes, 32, was waiting for a bus on Worsley Road North in Walkden when he had a medical episode ‘sat up in the road’.
A passerby helped get Mr Hayes to safety and asked him for a phone number so they could call for help. As they went inside and made the call, Mr Hayes was struck by the car whilst lying in the road, Bolton Coroner’s Court heard.
