Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Sunderland youngster Joe Hugill. The 16-year-old will head to Old Trafford for £200,000, but that could rise depending on how the teenager performs.

The transfer is not expecting any hiccups but Hugill cannot head to Manchester to complete his medical due to the coronavirus lockdown.

United have made adding young, homegrown talent a priority under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian has given a host of youngsters a chance at Old Trafford this term.
