Manchester United are at risk of having their 'trousers taken down' by Borussia Dortmund in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho. That is the verdict from former Liverpool star Graeme Souness, who reckons the Red Devils have gone the wrong way about landing the forward.
Sancho is one of the most sought-after players in the world after a stunning season at Dortmund. In 23 Bundesliga appearances, the 20-year-old has scored 14 times while adding a further 16 assists.
It has led to interest from United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Paris St-Germain. But it is the former who are said to be ahead of the queue after laying down the groundwork over a transfer since last summer.
