Italy star Leonardo Spinazzola suffered an anterior cruciate ligament to end his thrilling Euro 2020 journey early and Telles has been sought out as a temporary replacement.Goalkeeper Rui Patricio was confirmed as Roma's first signing of the Mourinho era and Telles is also wanted by the Serie A giants.
Telles joined United just last summer from FC Porto and has deputised for Luke Shaw, who has enjoyed an outstanding resurgence in form.
