Manchester United and Manchester City both settled for a share of the spoils in a cagey derby at Old Trafford. Neither side have been at their best this term and it told in what was a low key 90 minutes in the north west.
Pep Guardiola and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer both seemed content to take a point, which was evident from their respective starting XIs.
City had the better of the opening 45 as Raheem Sterling had a chance blocked before Riyad Mahrez saw his effort saved by David de Gea.
In the second-half Marcus Rashford looked to have earned the best chance when he was fouled by Kyle Walker in the box. But VAR showed him to be offside in the build up which saw the decision overturned.
