Manchester United saw four potential penalty shouts from their 3-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion reviewed on Monday morning.

Those are in addition to the one that saw referee Peter Bankes award United a spot-kick after Carlos Baleba brought down Joshua Zirkzee, which Bruno Fernandes converted.

That penalty cancelled out an early opener from Yankuba Minteh to draw the hosts level midway through the first half. Brighton thought they had retaken the lead eight minutes after half-time when Joao Pedro fired past Andre Onana, only for Bankes to rule that goal out after reviewing the pitchside monitor.

Ultimately, Kaoru Mitoma belatedly put the visitors back ahead on the hour mark before Georginio Rutter later doubled their advantage.
