Paul Scholes has questioned whether or not Mason Mount is capable of succeeding at Manchester United as the midfielder prepares for his second season at the club.
Mount missed the vast majority of his debut campaign through injury, returning for the final few weeks as Erik ten Hag's side battled for results in the Premier League and FA Cup.
Now hoping to put his struggles behind him and make his mark at Old Trafford, the former Chelsea star will be looking to nail down a starting spot in the United team.
Unconvinced a big break will be coming the way of the 25-year-old, however, Scholes has doubts over where Mount will fit in and how he serves as a long-term option.
