A man has died near to a Scots railway line. Emergency services rushed to the line in Braehead in Angus at 2.16pm yesterday after receiving reports of a casualty.
Medics attended, however the man sadly died at the scene. His cause of death is currently unknown.Services towards Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow were reinstated after 10pm.
A Tweet from ScotRail reads: "Due to the complexity of the incident the police have advised the line may be closed for some time. "13:50 Aberdeen-Queen St is currently at Montrose.
Once this service returns to Aberdeen we will be able to reinstate some services between Aberdeen & Montrose." Officers from British Transport Police are carrying out ongoing inquiries.
