Man targeted university students and ransacked their apartments after using false identity

A burglar targeted university students in Manchester city centre and ransacked their apartments after using a false identity.

Boris Danso was unmasked through CCTV enquiries after students reported their flats had been targeted. One of the victims had reporter to university security that they had been burgled.

Danso was later seen on CCTV cameras testing the door handles of numerous accommodation buildings. Later that same day, he returned and entered one of the accommodation blocks under a false identity.

He stole £1,000 cash from two rooms that he entered and had ransacked the accommodation whilst searching for cash and valuables.
