One major sticking point in the Gwyneth Paltrow ski trial is an email that was sent by Terry Sanderson, the man who is suing her.
He alleges that she caused him considerable damage after they collided in a ski accident back in 2016. Gwyneth alleges that Terry hit her, and Terry alleges that Gwyneth hit him. Terry is suing her for $300,000.
A major piece of evidence is an email that Terry sent after the 2016 collision with a link to an article about their accident.
The subject line of the email read, “I’m famous…,” and was sent to his daughters. Keep reading to see his explanation… Some believe that Terry‘s email could mean he loved the publicity he was receiving for having an accident with a celebrity. Terry was asked about this on the witness stand, and he explained why he chose that particular subject line. Terry, now 76, said when asked, “Again, my head was scrambled [after the accident], [but] all I was trying to do was desperately communicate with my kids before they heard from somebody else [that] I got crushed. “I didn’t pick my words well, not at all how I felt, and I was really trying to add a little levity to a serious situation and it backfired,” he added.
