A man was struck by a car in Stockport on Sunday afternoon (January 12). Emergency crews, including police and paramedics, raced to the incident on the A6, along Wellington Road North.
The main road into Stockport was taped off in both directions, near to the junction with the A5145 following the collision, at around 5pm.
A cordon was put in place amid investigations into the collision. The pedestrian, a man, was struck by a car along the stretch and left injured.
Further details about his condition have not yet been confirmed but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. The road was taped off between the M60 bridge and George's Road as paramedics and officers from Greater Manchester Police attended.
