A man has been seriously hurt after being stabbed in Manchester city centre. Officers were called to Peter Street at 4pm after a 31-year-old man had been knifed.
Police taped off an area outside Albert's Schloss following the incident this afternoon. Greater Manchester Police said that a 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

An eyewitness reported seeing blood on the pavement. Albert's Schloss said the venue's head of security provided first aid before the emergency services arrived.
