A man who claims most of us have been straining pasta the wrong way all our lives has sparked a fierce debate after posting a video to show his alternative method.
He begins by demonstrating the method most of us use - by simply pouring the pot of pasta into a sieve to drain the water so it's ready to be eaten.
After telling us that's not the way sieves were designed to work, he then moves on to share how he claims "it was made to be used".
Rather than holding the sieve under the pan, he flips it round so the domed end is in the pasta pot, and then tips it up so the water escapes and the pasta remains inside.
