UPDATE 8/6/22: The trial has been adjourned until January, 2023 A man sexually assaulted a girl as part of years of 'systematic' abuse, prosecutors allege.
Hyman Greenburg, 47, denies sexually abusing the girl in the early 2000s. Prosecutors allege he 'groomed' and 'systematically' sexually abused the child. "He said he didn't privately interact with her, and says he didn't touch her sexually at at all any occasion," Matthew Curtis, prosecuting, told a jury.
Mr Greenburg said their interactions would have been 'limited by the social and religious norms' of the Jewish community in which they lived.
Jurors at Minshull Street Crown Court heard the alleged abuse began when Mr Greenburg rubbed the child's breasts over her clothing.
