Man's body pulled from water at Loch Lomond Shores

beauty spot. Emergency services were called to the scene at Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch, shortly before 6pm on Thursday. A member of the public had spotted the man floating in the water and pulled him ashore before calling for help.A team from Loch Lomond Rescue Boat were also sent to the scene but the man sadly could not be saved.A spokesperson for the rescue crew said: “At 17.50 on 4/6/20 Loch Lomond Rescue Boat were paged with a report of a person in the water in the area near to Lomond Shores.“On arrival at the location the person had already been removed from the water by a member of the public however tragically the male had died. “Assistance was then provided to Police Scotland.
