Emergency services were called to the junction of Station Road and Bolton Road in Clifton where two cars were involved in a smash at around 4.20pm this afternoon (May 31).
Fire engines and technical response units arrived to release one man from a car, who was then taken to hospital. Firefighters then worked to make the scene safe.
