A man has been rushed to hospital following an 'incident' at a Glasgow home. The event, the nature of which remains unclear, took place shortly after 4pm on Wednesday, February 1 when officers were called to Slatefield Street in the east end of the city.

Emergency services, including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene and the hurt 38-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University for treatment.

The extent of his injuries, as well as his current condition, is not yet known. An eyewitness told GlasgowLive that "multiple officers are on the scene guarding around the front and rear doors" on the street.

Photos taken at the site show a police van stationed at the premises and two uniformed officers standing guard outside the address.
