A rapist attacked a woman in her own bed after she let him shelter from the rain. Matthew Cawston, 27, knew the victim and had been called to help with a domestic emergency at her home, Lancs Live reports.

She said: "It was banter, but he kept on asking for sex." The woman went to bed and left Cawston on the sofa, but later woke to find her pyjama bottoms had been removed and Cawston lying on top of her having sex.
