‘Man on the Inside’ Renewed for Season 2 at Netflix
variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter “A Man on the Inside” has been renewed for Season 2 at Netflix. Netflix made the announcement on their official X account on Monday.
The second season of the show is now slated to debut in 2025. The series debuted on Netflix on Nov. 21. Ted Danson stars in the single-camera comedy, which is based on the Oscar-nominated Chilean documentary “The Mole Agent.” The official series description states, “Retired professor Charles (Danson) feels life has nothing new in store for him.
A year after his wife’s passing, he’s become stuck in his routine and grown distant from his daughter Emily (Mary Elizabeth Ellis).
But when he spies a classified ad from private investigator Julie (Lilah Richcreek Estrada), he’s inspired to roll the dice on a new adventure.
