A man in Luncarty was furious when Bonfire Night pranksters lit a firework on top of his car. William Miller, who has lived in the normally peaceful village of Luncarty for 18 years, said his car was parked outside his daughter Jordan’s house at The Scarth, five minutes drive from his home in Tay Park Road, on Saturday, November 6.
William (65), a semi-retired window cleaner, had lent it to her but when he came to collect it on Sunday morning he found the windscreen cracked and dozens of burn marks all over the roof where a lit fountain firework had been placed overnight.“The air turned blue when I saw my car,” William told the PA.“I need the car for my work but it can’t be driven until the windshield is replaced.”Sparks from the firework
