Police were on patrol at around 7.30pm last night (September 23) when they spotted what they believed to be a stolen car near Hawthorne Road in Oldham.
A short pursuit began and the vehicle stopped on Hough Lane near the A627M in Middleton. READ MORE:Exhausted GP address "slacking off" claims The occupants of the car then fled on foot, GMP said.
A short time later, one of the occupants of the vehicle, a 32-year-old man, suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car on the A627M just before 8pm.
