A man hilariously got his own back on a company after he applied for a job but never heard back - for 14 years. Social media star Little Slug Comedy decided to get sweet revenge on business The Royal after they blanked an application he sent back in 2008.

Posting to his Tik Tok account @LittleSlugComedy, the funnyman recorded himself phoning the company and asking them to withdraw his employment form.

In the clip, which has since garnered over five million views, he starts the call by saying: "Hi there, I applied for a job at The Royal a while ago and I was just ringing to withdraw my application." The employer then politely replies: "Ok, no worries, what role was it for?""It was front-of-house manager," the star adds. "I'm not seeing that role listed, when did you apply for it?" The Royal employee responded.He continues: "2008.

You guys made the application process proper long and stressful but I never got an email back so I assumed you're still deciding who to hire.
