Police believe a man found seriously injured in the road in Bury could have been hit by a car. Officers were called to the scene on Manchester Road in Radcliffe, near the junction with Gigg Lane, just before 10.30pm last night (Monday).
A man - aged in his 50s - was found in the road with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital from the scene. Greater Manchester Police said initial enquiries suggest the man may have been involved in a crash with a vehicle. Anyone who witnessed the incident is being asked to come forward. In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "We were called shortly before 10.30pm on Monday 6 June to a report of an injured man on Manchester Road – close to the junction with Gigg Lane – in Bury.
