Man found hiding in bin after 'fleeing scene of three-car crash'

dailyrecord.co.ukpolice, according to reports. Locals say the man was injured and 'set off running' after the smash, which happened on Saturday just before 12pm on Lansdowne Road in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
A neighbour who lives on the road, who wishes to be known only as Darren, told the M.E.N he heard an 'almighty screech' from his back garden.
He then said he followed a man who was involved in the crash to some nearby garages as he tried to flee the scene.But police swooped in and found him hiding in a bin and arrested him, he added."I didn't actually see the crash, my mother was round and she saw the crash", Darren said."I was just in the back garden and I heard an almighty screech."I ran around and saw the guy who caused the crash just set off.
