A man who died after being attacked on an Airdrie street on Easter Sunday has been named locally as Peter Mcelroy. Local sources told the Daily Record Peter, 48, died following a disturbance on High Street at around 4.40pm on Sunday.
Emergency service s raced to the street but sadly Peter was pronounced dead at the scene. Police Scotland have now confirmed a 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with his death.
