The death of a man found 'seriously injured' on an Aberdeen street is being treated as 'unexplained.'Cops scrambled to Rosemount Place in the city at around 2:40pm this afternoon, Wednesday, June 12 after reports of man being injured in the area.
Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.Police say the death is currently being treated as unexplained and have locked down the area while they carry out enquiries.An image from the scene shows a large police presence on the street.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.40pm on Wednesday, 12 June, 2024, we received a report of a man found seriously injured in Rosemount Place, Aberdeen."Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene."The death is being treated as unexplained and Wallfield Crescent is currently closed while enquiries are carried out."
