Man dies in 'stabbing' in Scots street as teenager rushed to hospital

A man has died following a 'stabbing' in a street in Fraserburgh. Emergency services rushed to Watermill Road in the Aberdeenshire fishing town at around 6pm on Sunday, June 4, following reports of a disturbance.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene while a teenager was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. It is understood the incident was a stabbing.Police Scotland has launched an investigation into the incident and as yet no-one has been arrested or charged.

Images shared on social media showed a large-scale police and ambulance presence on the street as a cordon was erected, watched by shocked locals.The air ambulance was also called to the scene in Fraserburgh last night.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to assist with the incident for around two hours, leaving the scene shortly before 8pm.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Sunday, June 4, we were called to a report of an injured man on Watermill Road in Fraserburgh.
