Manchester City extended their perfect start to the season with a hard-fought 2-0 win at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Goals from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland put City two up inside 14 minutes, with a repeat of last season's 6-0 drubbing on the cards.
However, Rodri's loss of composure saw him sent off for shoving Morgan Gibbs-White in the throat and Pep Guardiola's side spent the second half with 10 men.
They held on for a clean sheet, however, and go into Wednesday's Carabao Cup third round tie at Newcastle United off the back of eight consecutive wins across all competitions.
