That led to fears that Sterling may also have been affected, and could be forced to withdraw from the England squad for next week’s Nations League qualifiers against Iceland and Denmark.
Sterling was reported to have killed that notion by having a test in Jamaica, which is said to have come back negative, but that has not yet been confirmed.But the UK government on Thursday night added Jamaica to the list of countries from which travellers must self-isolate for 14 days on.
