Liam Delap is feeling as strong as he has been all season as he made his latest return from injury for Manchester City on Tuesday.
Delap, 18, has been limited to four appearances so far this season after picking up an ankle injury over the summer, with his last return in September restricted to just three outings before he suffered a setback on the injury.
Initially feared to be out for some weeks, Delap was back in training last week and made his latest comeback in City's EFL Trophy defeat at Rotherham on Tuesday.
Delap played the first half, looking bright and creating a handful of scoring opportunities. He was replaced at half time, but U23 coach Brian Barry-Murphy explained how that was always the plan as he offered a positive update
