Manchester City returned to the Premier League's summit with a 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
First-half goals from forwards Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland sealed a return to winning ways for the Blues, who went into the contest having lost each of their last two league matches.
Ansu Fati set up a nervy finale, pulling one back for Brighton with just under 20 minutes to go, but City held firm to get over the line.
It meant they returned to the top of the table, initially a point ahead of Arsenal, who fought back from 2-0 down against Chelsea to draw 2-2 later in the day, meaning they are currently tied on 21 points each.
