Manchester City have reportedly emerged as favourites to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice. Rice has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United but, according to TEAMtalk Pep Guardiola’s side have now moved into pole position for his signature.
Previously, David Moyes has been reluctant to let Rice leave the London Stadium and even put a price tag of more than £100m on the Englishman.
However with his contract due to expire in 2024, if the club do not exercise a one-year contract extension, Moyes may be forced into selling the defensive midfielder anyway.
The 24-year-old is reportedly being lined up by Guardiola as a replacement for one of three players.
