Rogers, 19, moved to the Cherries for the 2021/22 campaign after impressing in the City academy and then the first team last summer in pre-season with Pep Guardiola.
He extended his contract at the Etihad until 2024 before heading out on loan. However, the winger has found it difficult to break into the team under Scott Parker.
