Manchester City are to celebrate their fourth Premier League title victory in five seasons with an open-top bus parade tomorrow.
The Blues clinched the crown in dramatic style at the Etihad Stadium today, coming from 2-0 down to Aston Villa with 20 minutes left to score three times in five minutes and see off the challenge of Liverpool, who beat Wolves.
City immediately announced that they will be taking the trophy round the city centre tomorrow, although timings and route have yet to be released.
In a press release, the Blues said: "The club will celebrate its victory with fans with an open-top bus parade in Manchester city centre on Monday 23rd May, concluding with a stage show at Deansgate (Beetham Tower)." Club skipper Fernandinho would lift the trophy amid jubilant scenes at the Etihad Stadium, after his last game for the club, and paid tribute to the team and the club, saying: “To finish my nine years at City by winning my fifth Premier League title is a dream come true.
