Manchester City have agreed to pay more for Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes in return for a more favourable payment schedule.
City reached a verbal agreement with Wolves on Wednesday for £47million, but the two clubs have now reached a final agreement worth £53m, or €62m.
The Blues agreed to pay more for the Portugal international as the schedule of payments works better for them. Nunes will now undergo a medical at City ahead of completing the transfer, which must be done before Friday's 11pm deadline.
Midfielder Tommy Doyle will head to Molineux for a medical in a separate season-long loan deal. Doyle will join Wolves on a temporary basis with a £5m option to buy next summer.
