Man City 2022/23 kit ‘leaked’ at city centre photoshoot
manchestereveningnews.co.ukManchester City fans may have had their first unofficial glimpse at one of the club’s new change strips for next season. City have had many eye-catching designs over the years and are always keen to pay homage to its history.
For instance, this season’s home strip was designed in commemoration of their ten-year anniversary of winning the 2012 title - their first of the Premier League era.
City also bring back a variation of their red and black striped away kit every few years. And it looks like the colours could make a return next season, with a slight twist. Instead of vertical stripes, fans could see first team players don a diagonal pattern when away from home. The last time the red and black stripes were seen was in the 2011/12 title-winning season.
