A man has been charged with the murder of Zikel Bobmanuel in east Manchester. Zikel, a 32-year-old dad, was found dead by emergency services on Sandywell Street in Openshaw on Saturday (March 25).
Police believe he died after being shot. A murder probe was launched and a man was arrested. According to official court documents, Emmanuel Onasanya has now been charged with murder in connection with the incident. Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for further details on the charge. Following his death, Zikel's family paid a heartfelt tribute to him.
They said his youngest child was just six weeks old. His family said: "Zikel was many things to many people, he was a good friend, a hard-working colleague, part of a large extended family, but ultimately, he was his mother’s son, her pride and joy.
