A man has been charged with the murder of Neri Morse in Ancoats earlier this week. They are set to appear before the courts tomorrow.
Rushaun Brown, 23, of Higher Ardwick, Ardwick, has also been charged with causing GBH and possession of a knife, and is to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday).
Another 23-year-old man remains in custody for questioning on suspicion of murder. Dad-of-one Neri, 24, died following an incident on Pollard Street, just outside the city centre, around 6.30pm on Wednesday (April 20) evening.
Neri's loved ones described him as 'the baby of the family' himself in an emotional tribute issued through Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
