A man has appeared in court charged with murder after the death of a mother-of-four. Mark Keel appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court today over the death of Maxine Clark.
Keel, 32, made no plea to the single charge he faced and was remanded in custody as prosecutors investigate further. Maxine, 36, was found dead in the city's Riddrie area on Thursday.
Paramedics raced to a property in Tummel Street at around 7.40pm on the day in question and she was discovered within but was pronounced dead at the scene.
No future court dates have been set for Keel.He is expected to make his second court appearance in connection with the case next week.
